Jackie Eshelman
Savory Accredited Educator, EOV™ Hub Verifier, EOV Program Lead at UVE
I grew up exploring the outdoors rural Pennsylvania’s Amish Country and now make my home in Central Oregon. My journey in regenerative agriculture began teaching ecological monitoring, described as science and math in the field, for a local Expeditionary Learning middle school located in Bend, Oregon.
Graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Adventure Leadership Education from the College of Forestry at Oregon State University, I have spent most of my life working with people outdoors in nature. In 2017, I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate through OSU, and in 2019, I became an Accredited Professional Educator with the Savory Institute.
Through a lifetime of outdoor experience, I bring fresh eyes to landscapes as I lead the Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV™) program for Savory’s hub UVE serving the West Coast and Intermountain West. As an accredited EOV™ Hub Verifier, I find myself in the privileged position of traveling the western US visiting with farmers, ranchers, and land stewards of every kind, monitoring a vast range of landscapes and ecoregions.
